About the role#

This is a paid, full-time rolling internship based in Edmonton, Alberta. The role operates primarily in industrial environments that involve lifting heavy loads, exposure to inclement weather, and elevated noise levels.

What you'll do#

• Maintain the cleanliness of plant work areas.
• Transport materials to and from storage and shop areas.
• Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and environmental regulations, as well as company policies and procedures.
• Assist with physical inspections of plant property and departments.

What you'll need#

• Current enrollment in post-secondary education, specifically in Civil, Mechanical, or Industrial Engineering.
• Previous labour experience.
• Previous experience using mobile equipment.
• A strong desire to work safely as part of a team.

• Location: Edmonton, AB, Canada.
• Work Modality: On-site.
• Compensation: Starting wage of $20.04 per hour, with overtime available.
• Training: Plant training provided.
• Conditions of employment: Successful candidates must complete a post-offer pre-employment physical examination and background check.
