Supply Chain Intern

About the role#

This internship provides hands-on experience in a manufacturing environment at HDT Global. You will gain exposure to procurement, supplier management, cost analysis, inventory management, and process improvement activities while working across various departments.

What you'll do#

• Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and visual analytics tools for leadership.
• Gather and analyze data to support supply chain improvement projects.
• Assist with supplier benchmarking, market research, and sourcing activities for consumable products and indirect materials.
• Manage Excel reporting projects, including spend analysis, purchasing trends, and inventory management.
• Support supplier communications, quote requests, and follow-up activities.
• Participate in process improvement initiatives focused on efficiency and operational excellence.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Purchasing, Quality, Engineering, Manufacturing, Shipping, Receiving, and Accounting.

What you'll need#

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Demonstrated interest in purchasing, procurement, manufacturing, or business analytics.
• Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including formulas, pivot tables, and data analysis.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with high attention to detail.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Due to the nature of this work, applicants must be U.S. Persons as defined by ITAR/EAR regulations.
