About the role#
As a Software Engineering Co-op, you will join the AQUARIUS software development team as an integral member. You will work within an Agile scrum environment to support the full lifecycle of software development. This role provides exposure to how software applications are built and deployed to customers globally while addressing data management and analytics challenges in the water industry.
What you'll do#
- Participate in the full development cycle of features, including design, requirements gathering, implementation, and testing.
- Investigate and debug customer-reported issues.
- Collaborate within a scrum agile environment and attend regular sprint meetings.
- Gain practical experience with the deployment of software applications to a global customer base.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an accredited post-secondary institution, specifically in your 3rd or 4th year of study.
- Preferred fields of study include Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mathematics, or Data Science.
- Completion of one or more previous co-op terms.
- Proficiency in at least one object-oriented programming language.
- A strong interest in full-stack engineering.

- Location: Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada.
- Work Modality: Hybrid.
- Compensation: $5,000 to $5,400 CAD per month.
- Term: Rolling.
- Requirements: Candidates must be available for an in-person final interview and a 30-day in-person immersion onboarding period if selected.
