This is an 8-month co-op position as a Financial Management Assistant, supporting regionally based multi-family real estate assets. The role requires balancing multiple priorities and contributing to team budget objectives.
What you'll do#
- Calculate and verify forecasted recoverable capital and leasing amortization assumptions.
- Upload amortization assumptions into Yardi Voyager 7S.
- Create long-range amortization trending analysis reports for properties.
- Assist with converting data from the AM Model to the Construction Manager Capital Planning tool.
- Process and review actual recoverable capital and leasing monthly amortization expense entries.
- Load monthly amortization expense reports to the centralized file server.
- Provide vacation relief for other team members.
What you'll need#
- Completion of the 3rd year of a post-secondary accounting, finance, or business administration degree program.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Teams, and Outlook.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines.
- Analytical mindset with an eye for detail and identifying discrepancies.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
