About the role#
Gotion Inc. is seeking a Logistics Intern to support international transportation, procurement request processing, and payment tracking activities. This role provides hands-on experience in global supply chain operations within the electric vehicle battery manufacturing industry. You will work across multiple company divisions to ensure efficient logistics and procurement workflows.
What you'll do#
- Support international air, ocean, trucking, and customs logistics operations.
- Track inbound and outbound shipments along with delivery milestones.
- Process procurement requests and assist with purchase order coordination.
- Monitor logistics invoices and payment requests to ensure timely approval.
- Coordinate with procurement, finance, warehouse, and operations teams.
- Maintain shipment records, generate reports, and track key performance indicators.
- Communicate with freight forwarders, suppliers, and customs brokers.
What you'll need#
- Pursuing or recently completed a degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Basic understanding of international transportation and procurement processes.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and general computer systems.
- Knowledge of import/export documentation and freight terminology.
- Interest in manufacturing, automotive, or electric vehicle battery supply chains.

- Location: Manteno, Illinois.
- Work Modality: On-site.
- Employment Type: Full-time.
- Compensation: $19 to $20 per hour.
- Term: Rolling, with a 3 to 6 month duration.
