Brand Ambassador (Summer Student)

About the role#

This is a temporary, full-time 8-week summer student position based in either Edmonton or Calgary. The role focuses on community engagement, event coordination, and brand awareness initiatives to support the mission of Goodwill Industries of Alberta.

What you'll do#

• Plan and execute community donation drives in partnership with local donation centres and community leagues.
• Attend and support on-site events, donation drives, and trade shows to increase community engagement.
• Develop, coordinate, and evaluate internal and external events from concept to completion.
• Create and support digital marketing content, including campaigns using Adobe Suite tools.
• Research and analyze demographic and marketing data to support strategic decisions.
• Collaborate with the Brand Integrity team to support projects and ensure policy compliance.

What you'll need#

• Current enrollment in a post-secondary program in Business (Marketing, Operations, Retailing), Communications, or Interior Decorating.
• Must be a Canadian citizen or permanent resident between the ages of 16 and 30.
• Valid Class 5 Driver’s license and the ability to drive a 20ft. moving truck.
• Ability to lift 25 – 50 lbs to assist with community donation drives.
• Strong mastery of the English language with excellent verbal communication skills.
• Proven customer service and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to interact effectively with the public and represent the organization.
• Successful completion of a Criminal Record Check is required.

Location & details#

• Locations: Edmonton, AB and Calgary, AB.
• Term: Summer 2026.
• Schedule: Full-time, 37.5 hours per week, weekdays.
• Compensation: $20/hour.
