About the role#
Gifthealth is seeking a Communications Intern to support internal and employer-brand projects. This role involves working with the Communications team to help tell the company story through intranet content, social media, event planning, and video production. You will gain hands-on experience across a variety of communication channels.
What you'll do#
- Gather, draft, and refine content for the company intranet.
- Assist in designing and laying out intranet pages to ensure they are clear and on-brand.
- Create Instagram content that showcases the work environment at Gifthealth.
- Develop social campaigns that highlight employee stories and open job roles.
- Track and report on social media post performance.
- Assist with logistics, timelines, and planning for the internal holiday celebration.
- Write and produce content for the internal newsletter.
- Shoot and produce short iPhone videos featuring company leadership and employees.
What you'll need#
- Current pursuit of a Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing, Journalism, Public Relations, or a related field, or recent graduation.
- Strong writing skills with the ability to adjust tone and format for different channels.
- Organizational skills to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
- High attention to detail to ensure work is accurate and polished.
- Comfort with shooting and editing short-form video on a smartphone.
- No formal work experience is required, though prior coursework, campus involvement, or projects in content creation or social media are a plus.

- Location: Columbus, Ohio.
- Modality: Hybrid.
- Status: Full-time internship.
- This position requires the ability to lift and carry event materials up to 25 pounds and stand for extended periods during event support. Occasional flexibility in scheduling may be required for video shoots or events.
