The Co-op Student, Information Services provides hands-on technical support for end-user hardware, software, and network systems. This role works collaboratively with managed service providers to support business continuity and ensure performance and service objectives are met.
What you'll do#
- Provide technical support for end-user hardware, peripherals, mobile devices, applications, and networking issues.
- Assist with virtual collaboration tools, meeting room technologies, and telephony systems, including Microsoft Teams.
- Administer the Mobile Device Management (MDM) program, including the configuration and deployment of new mobile devices.
- Support remote users with MS Office 365, Active Directory, Windows Operating System, and network connectivity.
- Maintain Knowledge Base Articles for Level I/II processes and procedures for hardware and core desktop applications.
- Participate in Environment, Health & Safety (EH&S) programs and maintain compliance with company safety policies.
What you'll need#
- Completion of 3rd year post-secondary education in Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Business Administration, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills suitable for all organizational levels.
- A strong client-centric approach to problem-solving.
- Microsoft certifications or training are considered an asset.
- Experience with mobility technologies is considered an asset.

- Location: Calgary, Alberta, Canada (On-site).
- Status: Full-time, fixed-term, paid co-op position.
