    About the role#

    The Workforce Engagement Management (WEM) QA Team is seeking a Software Developer, Test Intern to contribute to the testing framework of cloud-native products. You will participate in the full software development lifecycle, including design, implementation, testing, and bug fixing within an agile environment.

    What you'll do#

    • Design and develop high-quality automated tests for UI and backend microservices.
    • Explore innovative technologies to support continuous improvement and experimentation.
    • Sustain product quality by taking ownership of your work.
    • Learn how gamification can engage employees and ideate test coverage use cases.
    • Collaborate regularly in person at the Toronto office.

    What you'll need#

    • Active enrollment in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related discipline.
    • Ability to commit to a 12-month Co-op program.
    • Experience with software engineering in Java or similar object-oriented programming languages.
    • A proactive, self-motivated approach and a willingness to learn new technologies.
    • Strong communication skills and a preference for team collaboration.
