As a co-op student on the GM Fleet team, you will support the execution and coordination of marketing and sales operations initiatives. This 12-month position provides hands-on experience in the fleet and commercial business sector, working with brands such as Chevrolet, Cadillac, GMC, and Buick.
What you'll do#
- Develop new training courses for dealership Fleet Managers.
- Identify growth markets for GM Fleet Canada.
- Maintain and update data dashboards and reports using Excel or Power BI.
- Create model year overview presentations, pitch decks, and competitive comparisons.
- Assist with administrative tasks, including manual claims and RFQ proposals.
- Draft and distribute dealer-facing communications.
- Create social media posts and email campaigns for fleet customers.
- Maintain the GM Fleet Canada website.
- Use AI tools to develop process efficiencies for the team.
- Organize and support customer-facing events and internal team meetings.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
- Ability to work 40 hours per week for a 12-month term starting in September 2026.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, specifically Excel and PowerPoint.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Must be legally entitled to work in Canada without sponsorship.
- Full G License (Ontario or provincial equivalent) is required.
- Experience with Power BI or Tableau is considered an asset.
- Must be enrolled in a co-op or internship program.
Location & details#
- Location: Oshawa, Ontario, Canada.
- Work Modality: Hybrid (expected to report to the Oshawa Elevation Centre at least three times per week).
- Duration: 12-month term beginning September 2026.
