Systems Engineering Co-op - Security Clearance Required

About the role#

This Systems Engineering Co-op position supports critical national defense projects. You will work within the Systems Engineering Integration and Test group, collaborating with experienced teams to develop solutions for high-stakes missions. This role offers the opportunity to apply classroom knowledge to real-world technical challenges in a hybrid work environment.

What you'll do#

• Participate in requirements, functional, and performance analysis, including timing and power assessments.
• Develop test cases, procedures, scripts, and associated documentation for formal verification activities.
• Support the setup of test infrastructures, environments, and assets, including identifying materials and coordinating with manufacturing teams.
• Prepare for and conduct formal test events such as Design Verification, Qualification, Acceptance, EMI/EMC, and radiation testing.
• Identify opportunities to implement AI for continuous improvement and innovation.
• Provide status updates to project leads and contribute to team backlogs on projects of medium complexity.

What you'll need#

• Enrollment in an accredited degree program in Computer, Electrical, Mechanical, Industrial Engineering, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or Physics.
• A thorough understanding of engineering technology.
• Preference for students with junior standing or higher.
• U.S. citizenship is required.
• A Department of Defense Secret security clearance is required at the time of hire.
