About the role#
Freese and Nichols offers a Summer 2027 internship program focused on providing hands-on experience in civil engineering and related disciplines. Interns work alongside experienced professionals on projects that support infrastructure and community development. This is a full-time, paid position based in the office to facilitate mentorship and collaboration.
What you'll do#
- Perform specific and limited tasks within a broader project assignment.
- Apply standard engineering practices and techniques to specific situations.
- Assist project managers with ongoing project needs.
- Collect, adjust, and correlate data, perform calculations, and identify discrepancies in results.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a BS or MS degree program in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Biology, or Agriculture.
- A graduation date of August 2027 or later.
- Active participation in student organizations.
