AI Business Operations Intern

About the role#

FocusKPI is an AI consulting team focused on designing and building custom AI agent solutions. This full-time, paid internship offers direct exposure to live client work and the deployment of AI agents across various industries. You will work directly with the team to manage client relationships, execute outreach, and support operational workflows.

What you'll do#

• Run targeted outreach campaigns, including managing sequences, follow-ups, and prospect replies.
• Support client onboarding for AI tools by coordinating access and tracking active user status.
• Draft client-facing communications such as meeting recaps, status updates, and project summaries.
• Track active AI implementation engagements to monitor progress and identify blockers.
• Produce inbound content, including thought leadership articles, case studies, and blog posts.
• Create and schedule content for social media channels to support outbound campaigns.
• Use AI tools to automate repetitive tasks across research, writing, and operational workflows.

What you'll need#

• Strong written English skills for client-facing correspondence.
• Demonstrated experience using AI tools in daily work to improve efficiency.
• A clear understanding of AI agents and their practical applications.
• Highly organized and proactive approach to task management.
• Ability to work effectively in an environment with shifting priorities and ambiguity.
• Currently enrolled as a college student or a recent graduate in Business Administration, Communications, Data Science, or Computer Science.

Location & details#

• This position is fully remote within the United States.
• The role is full-time with a rolling start date.
• Compensation is $2,000–$3,000 per month, commensurate with experience.
