Analytical Development Co-Op

About the role#

We are seeking an enthusiastic Analytical Development Co-Op to join our team. This role focuses on the development and execution of test methods to characterize novel nucleic acid therapeutics and LNP delivery vehicles. You will work in a collaborative environment, contributing to platform development and the creation of scalable, rigorous, and cost-effective manufacturing and quality control processes.

What you'll do#

• Execute benchwork to support platform goals.
• Develop and perform analytical assays for the characterization and release of nucleic acid cargo and LNP drug products.
• Analyze, summarize, and present experimental results to team members and management.
• Participate in experimental design, troubleshooting, and process optimization.
• Maintain accurate laboratory records and technical reports.

What you'll need#

• Current enrollment in a Bachelor’s or Master’s program in Chemical Engineering, Biochemical Engineering, Bioengineering, Biomolecular Engineering, Chemistry, Biochemistry, Biomedical Engineering, Biophysics, Biotechnology, Molecular Biology, or a related field.
• A minimum GPA of 3.5 on a 4.0 scale or equivalent.
• Proficiency in laboratory skills applicable to the development and execution of analytical assays.
• Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to multitask.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
