The First Nations University of Canada is seeking a Student Library Worker for the Regina campus. This is a casual, paid position for the Summer 2026 term, primarily involving evening and weekend shifts as needed.
What you'll do#
- Shelve returned materials and process withdrawn books.
- Manage the circulation of materials and place holds for patrons.
- Assist patrons with photocopying, printing, and navigating the Alma and Primo library catalogue.
- Answer basic reference and directional questions.
- Contact patrons regarding materials on hold.
- Maintain the library space by tidying up before the end of each shift.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment as a student at the First Nations University of Canada.
- Strong keyboarding and internet skills.
- Ability to work well with the public and demonstrate initiative.
- Reliability and punctuality.
- Ability to work independently while contributing to a team environment.
- Familiarity with Library of Congress call numbers is preferred.

- Location: Regina, Saskatchewan.
- Work Modality: On-site.
- Compensation: $15.38 - $21.03 per hour, based on completed credit hours.
