About the role#
The Rescue Program Intern will support Fi’s initiative to provide GPS tracking technology to shelters and rescue organizations across the United States. This role involves managing the daily operations of the program, working directly with rescue partners, and contributing to the growth and efficiency of the rescue network. This is a paid, part-time, remote position with a rolling start date.
What you'll do#
- Manage the rescue order queue by reviewing and approving GPS tracker and microchip orders based on program guidelines.
- Onboard new rescue partners by processing applications, distributing materials, and leading activation calls.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for rescue partners, managing email correspondence and providing program guidance.
- Triage support escalations in the CRM to resolve partner account issues.
- Maintain accurate partner records and data within the CRM.
- Coordinate shipments of devices and promotional materials for adoption events and partner campaigns.
- Assist in researching and identifying large rescue organizations for national program expansion.
- Utilize AI tools to automate repetitive tasks, draft communications, and build internal reporting tools.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in or recent graduation from a degree program in Business Administration, Marketing, Communications, Psychology, Political Science, Sociology, or Animal Science.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage daily workflows independently.
- Clear, professional, and friendly writing skills for partner communication.
- Sound judgment to follow established playbooks and identify when to escalate unique cases.
- Proficiency with AI tools like ChatGPT or Claude, with a focus on building automations and increasing efficiency.
- Ability to quickly learn and adapt to new software, including CRM and internal admin systems.
- A builder's instinct and curiosity regarding technology.
- Experience volunteering with shelters or rescues is considered a plus.

- This is a part-time, paid internship.
