On Site Intern: R&D

About the role#

This internship supports the Engineering department at Ferno. You will gain experience in research and development by assisting with established processes, technical tasks, and administrative functions under general direction.

What you'll do#

• Support the performance of R&D functions.
• Perform routine and administrative tasks.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
• Execute established processes and procedures as directed.
• Assist team members with more complex tasks and interact with others in the R&D department.

What you'll need#

• Current enrollment in a higher education program (post-high school).
• Pursuing a degree in Biomedical, Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, Chemical, Environmental, or Computer Engineering, or Physics.
• Basic understanding and skill in hands-on technical, mechanical, manufacturing, electronic, or instrumentation areas.
• Basic verbal and written communication skills.
• Accurate data collection and analysis abilities.
• Basic competency with Microsoft Office applications.
