FatCat Strategies is seeking an Account Manager Intern to join our agency operations. This role is designed for individuals interested in a career in digital marketing who want to learn how to manage client accounts. You will be embedded in our day-to-day operations, working alongside our team to support client needs and develop core professional skills. This is an opportunity to gain hands-on experience and work toward greater responsibility within the agency.
What you'll do#
- Join client calls as a backup, notetaker, and observer.
- Maintain organized client documentation, project files, and internal resources.
- Support onboarding processes for new clients and projects.
- Proofread internal and client-facing documents with an eye for detail.
- Review workflows, websites, and automations to ensure quality and flag issues.
- Assist with lead tracking and lead quality reviews.
- Gain hands-on exposure to SEO, PPC, Web Maintenance, and Graphic Design.
- Learn the tools, workflows, and communication styles of our account teams.
What you'll need#
- A genuine interest in account management and a desire to grow into a full-time role.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality work.
- Confidence in communication and a professional demeanor.
- Demonstrated leadership qualities, including taking ownership and following through on tasks.
- Ability to manage your own workload after training and solve problems with a solution-first mindset.
- Proficiency with Google Drive and basic digital tools.
- Currently pursuing or holding a degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or Communications.
Location & details#
- Location: On-site in Raleigh, North Carolina.
- Schedule: Minimum 10 hours per week, Monday – Thursday, between 9:00am – 5:00pm.
- Compensation: Paid position based on experience and skill set.
- Term: Rolling.
