The Meetings and Travel Intern will work with the Meetings and Travel team to support company events, conferences, and travel logistics. This role focuses on the planning and preparation for the 2027 Field Leadership Conference and the company’s 50th Anniversary celebration. This is a full-time, paid internship for the Winter 2027 term based on-site in Salt Lake City.
What you'll do#
- Assist in organizing corporate meetings, employee events, and office gatherings.
- Support the planning of the 2027 Field Leadership Conference, including event website and app development, data management, and supplier coordination.
- Manage attendee inquiries regarding meetings, travel, registration, and hotel reservations.
- Handle event administrative tasks, such as creating registration lists, ordering supplies like name badges, and managing shipments.
- Coordinate employee travel bookings through the company travel management system and assist with Concur access.
- Process hotel credit card authorizations and manage office conference space bookings.
- Assist with onsite operations during the 2027 Field Leadership Conference.
What you'll need#
- Pursuing a degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or Human Resources.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Extreme attention to detail and excellent follow-through.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and a comfort level with learning new software.
- Effective oral and written communication skills with a focus on customer service.
- Ability to remain calm and professional when interacting with all levels of the organization, including executive leadership.
