As a Human Resources Intern, you will gain a comprehensive understanding of HR operations within a multi-location organization. This role provides exposure to various HR functions, including talent acquisition, training, and total rewards, helping you develop practical skills for a career in human resources.
What you'll do#
- Support new hire training logistics, including tracking attendance and coordinating communications.
- Assist with class moderation and the creation or updating of instructional guides and training documentation.
- Support Talent Acquisition compliance activities, including I-9 validation processes.
- Maintain accurate candidate records and system data to ensure reporting accuracy.
- Provide administrative support for benefits and compensation programs, including documentation and tracking employee inquiries.
- Assist with Total Rewards initiatives, Employee Relations documentation, and internal HR policy projects.
What you'll need#
- Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master’s program in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field, or recently graduated within the past two years.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Eagerness to learn and take on new challenges.
- Valid state driver's license.
Location & details#
- Location: On-site at the Support Center in Altamonte Springs, Florida.
- Term: Fall 2026 (August 1st, 2026 – November 13th, 2026).
- Schedule: Full-time (40 hours per week) or part-time (20 hours per week) based on department needs.
- Compensation: $15.00 per hour.
