Marketing Student Intern

About the role#

This summer internship provides marketing and administrative support for firm-wide marketing efforts and database maintenance. You will gain a well-rounded introduction to marketing by supporting the execution of marketing plans, studio promotional efforts, and collateral updates. This is a paid, full-time, on-site role based in Madison.

What you'll do#

• Assist with marketing and administrative tasks, including database maintenance and website updates.
• Support content management, social media, email creation, and public relations efforts.
• Draft content for various mediums, including blogs and marketing collateral.
• Coordinate studio events, firm conferences, and the annual BDBT event.
• Manage inventory and execute the Employee Appreciation program.
• Work both autonomously and collaboratively with the marketing team and staff.

What you'll need#

• Current enrollment in an Associate, BA, or BS program in marketing, business, communications, journalism, public relations, advertising, or a related field.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Adobe Suite, specifically PowerPoint and InDesign.
• Strong writing and proofreading skills; you must provide three writing examples.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously with high attention to detail.
• Experience with Adobe Premiere is considered a plus.

• Compensation: $18.00–$23.00 per hour, based on experience.
