This internship provides an opportunity for students to gain experience in nonprofit communications, digital marketing, and content creation. Interns will work with the Strategic Communications Team to support projects centered on gender, racial, and economic justice. This is an unpaid, volunteer position for the Fall 2026 semester.
What you'll do#
- Collaborate on projects with the Strategic Communications Team.
- Create content for social media platforms.
- Assist with graphic design and digital marketing initiatives.
- Support communications campaign strategy and event planning.
- Draft copy for various digital and marketing platforms.
- Participate in video creation and editing.
What you'll need#
- Demonstrated interest in and commitment to civil rights and social justice.
- Strong written communication skills.
- Good organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Experience with Canva.
- Experience with video creation or editing.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Academic background in Communications, Marketing, Public Health, Political Science, Graphic Design, or related fields.

- Location: San Francisco, California.
- Modality: Hybrid.
- Term: Fall 2026 (September through December).
- Commitment: At least 15 hours per week.
