The Manager of Student & Family Services is a key leadership position focused on maintaining a safe, welcoming, and organized school environment. This role balances operational excellence with the development of a positive student culture by managing front office operations, leading attendance interventions, and facilitating family engagement. You will partner with school leadership, teachers, and families to support student success and ensure the school operates efficiently.
What you'll do#
- Manage the daily operations of the school office and serve as the primary contact for students, families, staff, and visitors.
- Oversee daily attendance monitoring and intervention systems, including identifying trends and coordinating outreach.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for family concerns, questions, and support needs, while coordinating school events and workshops.
- Maintain accurate student demographic, enrollment, attendance, scheduling, and program participation records within the Student Information System.
- Support emergency preparedness and student safety procedures to ensure a secure learning environment.
- Lead student recruitment, enrollment, and registration processes, ensuring compliance with all record-keeping requirements.
What you'll need#
- Bachelor's degree.
- Three or more years of experience in education, school operations, student services, behavior support, or office management.
- Strong relationship-building and conflict-resolution skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Demonstrated commitment to equity, inclusion, and culturally responsive practices.
