About the role#
This is a full-time, paid internship for Summer 2026 based in Loveland, Colorado. You will work on-site to gain practical experience in the complete engineering design and product development process, supporting the full product lifecycle from concept to market.
What you'll do#
- Develop manufacturing documentation to support production and assembly.
- Review part assemblies to verify vehicle fitment, revision status, and manufacturability.
- Support manufacturing staff and develop processes for collecting production data.
- Participate in hands-on product validation and performance testing.
- Support the full product lifecycle, including design, prototyping, testing, documentation, and release.
- Collaborate with engineers and manufacturing staff to deliver solutions.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- Proficiency with CAD software such as SolidWorks or CATIA.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and interest in product design and development.
- Ability to work both independently and in a collaborative team setting.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Experience with MIG and TIG welding processes is preferred.
- Familiarity with automotive systems, components, and ERP systems is a plus.
Location & details#
- Location: Loveland, CO (On-site).
- Term: Summer 2026.
- Compensation: $16.00 to $20.00 per hour, depending on experience.
- Schedule: Monday through Thursday, 8:00 AM to 3:30 PM.
