EnerSys is seeking a student for an Electronics Co-Op position to join the engineering team in Burnaby. This role focuses on defining test strategies and performing verification testing for new analog and digital products. You will work closely with the engineering team to understand product requirements, construct test jigs, and troubleshoot prototypes.
What you'll do#
- Design and develop hardware circuits for various test jigs, incorporating both analog and digital circuitry.
- Create design calculations and develop detailed design verification plans.
- Execute test plans, document findings, and analyze results.
- Propose and implement design changes to products based on testing outcomes.
- Prepare and maintain comprehensive technical documentation.
- Collaborate with firmware and software teams to develop solutions and contribute to continuous improvement efforts.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an accredited undergraduate engineering program, with a focus on Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Physics, Mathematics, or Computer Science.
- Familiarity with electronic test equipment, such as oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, and environmental chambers.
- Practical experience soldering surface-mount technology (SMT) components.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills to document technical findings clearly.
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with team members and stakeholders.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.

- Location: Burnaby, British Columbia, Canada.
- Work Modality: On-site.
- Term: Fall 2026 (September 7, 2026, through December 18, 2026).
- Schedule: Full-time (40 hours per week).
- Compensation: Paid position ($20.00 - $25.00 CAD per hour).
