The Educational Administration Intern serves as the primary point of contact for the Atlanta Learning and Innovation Center (LINC). This role supports office operations, manages front desk duties, and assists the Education Specialist with training logistics and administrative tasks. This is a full-time, paid internship position.
What you'll do#
- Manage the front desk, greet visitors, and answer incoming calls.
- Handle incoming shipments, sign for packages, and assist staff with shipping and pickup inquiries.
- Process requests for visitor and customer building access keys.
- Act as the point of contact for service providers and vendors, submitting maintenance requests to building management and third-party suppliers.
- Manage financial documentation, including obtaining quotes, creating purchase orders, and submitting invoices for LINC equipment and services.
- Support training operations by scheduling classes, managing customer enrollment via the learning management system, and assisting with travel and expense reimbursements.
- Maintain the organization and cleanliness of the LINC facility.
What you'll need#
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to work independently.
- A customer-centric mindset, including empathy and the ability to maintain a positive attitude in challenging situations.
- Patience and the ability to operate effectively under stressful circumstances.
- Pursuing a degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, Health Administration, or Communications.
