About the role#
This Engineering Co-Op program offers students the opportunity to gain hands-on experience by working within engineering teams to develop, test, and implement designs for advanced medical device technology. Participants will contribute to projects across various functions, including Research and Development, Clinical Development, and Quality Engineering. This is a full-time, paid, on-site position running from January through August 2027.
What you'll do#
- Collaborate with engineering teams to develop and test new concepts for medical devices.
- Perform functional and mechanical testing, as well as simulated use testing.
- Act as an integral member of the development team by participating in design reviews and providing feedback.
- Provide documentation support and prepare written reports on testing and design activities.
- Assist in troubleshooting technical problems and documenting production department concerns.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an undergraduate program with a graduation date of December 2027 or later.
- Pursuit of a degree in Biomedical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Biomedical Sciences.
- A minimum 3.0 GPA or equivalent.
- Proficiency in drafting software, specifically Solidworks or Creo Parametric.
- Ability to work full-time and on-site from January to August 2027.
- Must not require company sponsorship for an employment-based visa now or in the future.
- Strong attention to detail and time management skills.
