Intern Clinical Rotations

About the role#

Easterseals PORT Health is seeking a dedicated student to join the team in Morehead City for clinical rotations. This unpaid internship provides an opportunity to apply classroom knowledge in a professional outpatient therapy setting, focusing on mental health and substance use treatment. You will work alongside a treatment team to support patient healing and gain practical experience in a clinical environment.

What you'll do#

• Complete clinical rotations, practicums, or internships as a member of the treatment team.
• Maintain clinical documentation in compliance with program and Medicaid standards, including assessments, progress reports, and service provision records.
• Collaborate with the treatment team to support patient healing.
• Apply educational skills to practical, professional settings.

What you'll need#

• Current enrollment in a Human Services or PMHNP program.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and internet applications.
• Strong interpersonal skills with excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
• Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality.
• Ability to carry out assigned projects to completion.
