Marketing Intern

About the role#

Earth Systems is seeking a motivated Marketing Intern to support our proposal and marketing team in the geotechnical engineering industry. This part-time position, approximately 15 hours per week, provides hands-on experience in digital marketing, content creation, and proposal development. You will work alongside experienced professionals to support real-world projects.

What you'll do#

• Update professional resumes to the new company template design.
• Assist the Marketing Coordinator with social media account management.
• Manage lab certifications by filing expired documents and obtaining current ones.
• Perform data entry and reporting within the Cosential CRM.
• Assist the team with the layout, completion, and submittal of Statements of Qualifications (SOQs) and other marketing materials.
• Support the maintenance of the text library and assist with video production and editing.
• Handle special projects as assigned.

What you'll need#

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, or a related field.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Creative thinking with a high level of attention to detail.
• Familiarity with social media platforms.
• Knowledge of digital marketing tools is considered a plus.

• Location: San Luis Obispo, California.
• Work Modality: On-site.
• Schedule: Part-time (approx. 15 hours per week).
• Compensation: $20–$22 per hour, depending on experience, skills, and education.
• Employment is contingent upon the satisfactory completion of a background check, drug screening, medical evaluation, and a review of motor vehicle records.
