Mansion Global is seeking a detail-oriented intern to join the team covering luxury real estate news. This is a paid, full-time position based in our New York office. The role requires familiarity with AP Style and an interest in topics ranging from business and economics to lifestyle trends. This position runs through the end of January.
What you'll do#
- Report and write 2-5 stories per week for the website.
- Assist with production by building stories in the content management system.
- Conduct story research and fact-checking.
- Collaborate with staff reporters on reporting tasks.
- Contribute to social media channels as needed.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment as a journalism major, at least at the junior level, with an interest in real estate or business.
- Previous experience writing news stories for a student publication or professional news organization.
- Ability to interpret and analyze market data, such as sales figures and home price inflation.
- Proficiency in Excel for reading and manipulating data is considered a plus.
