About the role#
This summer internship offers high school students the opportunity to contribute to an integrated design team. You will work on commercial, educational, and municipal building projects, gaining hands-on experience in various phases of construction and design development. You will be encouraged to share your design perspective while learning the technical aspects of building documentation.
What you'll do#
- Collaborate with team members during the integrated design process for various projects.
- Develop proficiency in design tools, including Revit, Enscape, and proprietary firm methods.
- Create presentation materials using SketchUp and Adobe Creative Suite.
- Support project pursuits and contribute to business development activities.
- Attend project and site meetings to assist with communication and coordination.
- Explore construction documentation and project delivery processes.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in Cy-Fair ISD.
- Active participation in the ACE Mentorship Program.
- Practical experience with Revit, Adobe Creative Suite, and Microsoft Office.
- Eligibility to work in the United States without the need for visa or residency sponsorship.
- Submission of a current portfolio, preferably in PDF format.
