FWS Student Worker III, Off Campus (Video & Multimedia Content Creator Intern)

About the role#

The Video & Multimedia Content Creator intern will produce short-form video and visual content for Innovation DuPage's social media channels, events, and internal communications. This role reports to the Marketing Manager and IT Project Coordinator and focuses on maintaining a consistent visual brand identity across all projects.

What you'll do#

• Film and edit short-form video content for LinkedIn, Instagram, and Facebook, including event recaps, member spotlights, and program reels.
• Capture on-site video footage at Innovation DuPage events and partner gatherings.
• Edit video content using Adobe Premiere Pro or equivalent Adobe tools.
• Design graphics and visual assets for social media, newsletters, and event flyers.
• Make quick edits to existing graphics and templates as needed.
• Support the creation of presentation decks and other multimedia assets.

What you'll need#

• Currently pursuing a degree in media production, communications, marketing, graphic design, or a related field.
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, including Premiere Pro, Illustrator, Photoshop, or InDesign.
• Comfort capturing video content on a camera or smartphone.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Experience with Canva or other design tools is preferred.
• Familiarity with social media platforms, current content trends, and the DuPage County entrepreneurial community is a plus.

Location & details#

• Location: Lisle, Illinois (with required in-office days at Innovation DuPage in Glen Ellyn, Illinois).
• Work Modality: Hybrid.
• Commitment: 25 hours per week.
• Term: Summer 2026.
• This is a paid internship position.
