About the role#
The Video & Multimedia Content Creator intern will produce short-form video and visual content for Innovation DuPage's social media channels, events, and internal communications. This role reports to the Marketing Manager and IT Project Coordinator and focuses on maintaining a consistent visual brand identity across all projects.
What you'll do#
- Film and edit short-form video content for LinkedIn, Instagram, and Facebook, including event recaps, member spotlights, and program reels.
- Capture on-site video footage at Innovation DuPage events and partner gatherings.
- Edit video content using Adobe Premiere Pro or equivalent Adobe tools.
- Design graphics and visual assets for social media, newsletters, and event flyers.
- Make quick edits to existing graphics and templates as needed.
- Support the creation of presentation decks and other multimedia assets.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a degree in media production, communications, marketing, graphic design, or a related field.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, including Premiere Pro, Illustrator, Photoshop, or InDesign.
- Comfort capturing video content on a camera or smartphone.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Experience with Canva or other design tools is preferred.
- Familiarity with social media platforms, current content trends, and the DuPage County entrepreneurial community is a plus.
Location & details#
- Location: Lisle, Illinois (with required in-office days at Innovation DuPage in Glen Ellyn, Illinois).
- Work Modality: Hybrid.
- Commitment: 25 hours per week.
- Term: Summer 2026.
- This is a paid internship position.
