About the role#
The Production Intern supports manufacturing operations by working 20 to 30 hours per week. This role provides exposure to various areas of the facility and offers hands-on experience with manufacturing processes, quality standards, and continuous improvement initiatives. You will work within a collaborative, team-oriented environment to help meet production goals.
What you'll do#
- Rotate through different areas of the manufacturing facility.
- Load and unload parts.
- Inspect parts for quality.
- Meet or exceed established production standards.
- Contribute to initiatives focused on safety, quality, delivery, and cost.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a degree program related to Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Business Administration, or Operations Management.
- Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, team-oriented environment.
- Hands-on experience with manufacturing processes.
- Understanding of quality standards.
- Ability to contribute to continuous improvement efforts.
