Co-op Student, Public Company Audit

About the role#

Davidson & Company LLP is seeking motivated students for a co-op position within the Public Company Audit team. This role provides hands-on experience through direct involvement in client engagements, allowing students to develop core accounting skills and gain professional exposure to the CPA path. Available terms include an 8-month placement starting in Fall 2026 or a 4-month placement starting in Winter 2027.

What you'll do#

• Apply accounting and auditing frameworks to public and private company audits.
• Utilize advanced audit software, including data analytics tools.
• Collaborate with internal audit teams and interact with client accounting staff to build communication and interpersonal skills.
• Manage time and deliverables effectively across multiple client files.
• Participate in team discussions and research technical accounting issues to address client challenges.

What you'll need#

• Enrollment in an Accounting or Finance program.
• Ability to apply accounting and auditing frameworks.
• Proficiency in working with audit software.
• Capability to contribute to team discussions and technical research.
• Effective time management skills to handle multiple project deliverables.

• Location: Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada.

• Compensation: $50,000 annually.
• Benefits: Includes a monthly commuting and connectivity allowance of $250.
