Student Activities - Chaperone

About the role#

Culver Academies is seeking a Student Activities Chaperone to support student life on campus. This is a part-time position requiring flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays. Candidates pursuing degrees in Psychology, Human Resources, Sociology, or Criminal Justice are encouraged to apply.

What you'll do#

• Supervise student areas including the Lay Student Center, Beason Hall, or a CGA Dormitory.
• Ensure student safety and maintain proper behavior.
• Conduct frequent building tours and secure facilities at the end of the evening.
• Document discipline incidents and enforce student dress codes.
• Perform general housekeeping tasks as required.

What you'll need#

• High school diploma or GED.
• Basic computer skills for documentation.
• Ability to communicate effectively with adolescents with tact and authority.
• Reliability, flexibility, and an open-minded approach.
• Physical capability to navigate campus, including walking and climbing stairs.

Location & details#

• Location: Culver, Indiana.
• Work Modality: On-site.
• Compensation: $15.00 per hour.
