About the role#
This is a full-time, paid summer student position based at Dufferin Concrete in Kitchener, Ontario. You will gain hands-on experience in the wholesale building materials industry while supporting operational teams during the 2026 summer term.
What you'll do#
- Assist with daily operations at the Dufferin Concrete facility.
- Learn about various concrete mixes and technical specifications.
- Support project teams with various operational tasks.
- Participate in safety and quality assurance processes.
- Contribute to ongoing operational improvement projects.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or Business Administration.
- Hands-on experience with concrete production.
- Knowledge of the building materials industry.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Demonstrated problem-solving skills.
