    About the role#

    The County of Elgin is seeking a part-time Student Library Page to support daily operations at the Belmont Library. This position involves maintaining library organization and assisting with the delivery of library services.

    What you'll do#

    • Carry out daily operational tasks within the library.
    • Maintain library organization and ensure services remain accessible.
    • Assist patrons with inquiries and help them navigate library resources.
    • Provide support for various library events and programs.

    What you'll need#

    • Current enrollment in a secondary school program.
    • Strong communication skills.
    • Basic knowledge of a library setting.
    • Previous experience working with the public is considered an asset.

    Location & details#

    • Location: Belmont, Ontario.
    • Schedule: 6 hours per week as scheduled by the employer.
    • Compensation: $16.60 per hour.
    • Work modality: On-site.
