About the role#
This internship focuses on the daily operations and procedures of the IT department. You will learn the technical routines required to support the organization, providing assistance to both the main office and district offices. The role involves supporting core IT functions, including potential involvement in cybersecurity and AI initiatives.
What you'll do#
- Install and configure software and hardware.
- Set up user accounts and workstations.
- Troubleshoot technical issues related to workstations, AV equipment, printers, and phones.
- Provide technical support to end-users both in person and over the phone.
- Complete assigned tasks within designated timeframes.
- Assist in various areas across the IT department as needed.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an accredited undergraduate or graduate program in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Data Science, Mathematics, or a related field.
- High school diploma or equivalent certificate.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
- Familiarity with general office equipment.
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to communicate clearly and professionally in English.

- Physical requirements: Ability to perform medium work, including lifting up to 50 pounds occasionally.
