Data Analyst Internship

About the role#

ConnectPrep is offering a Data Analyst Internship for students or graduates in Statistics, Data Science, Computer Science, Mathematics, or Business Administration. This cross-disciplinary role focuses on improving educational outcomes by building data infrastructure and creating insightful analytics. You will work closely with educators to validate models and iterate on the technologies that support our products.

What you'll do#

• Engage with educators to validate analytics models and iterate on data-driven solutions.
• Perform data mining and cleaning from multiple sources, including web data, internal trackers, and marketing platforms.
• Support data-driven decision-making through the use of AI tools and workflows.
• Analyze website analytics, including traffic, engagement, and conversions, to prepare reports and dashboards.
• Assist with data analysis for marketing campaigns, content performance, and business operations.
• Test, document, and iterate on new data and AI workflows.

What you'll need#

• Strong math and quantitative skills with excellent attention to detail.
• Experience with SQL or Python data tools such as Pandas or NumPy.
• Advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables, advanced formulas, charting, and data simulations.
• A strong interest in technology, AI, and how data can improve student learning outcomes.
• Ability to engage in creative problem solving with real-world data.
