About the role#
The Cohera Event Management Internship provides college students and aspiring professionals with hands-on experience in the event services industry. Interns support the team in planning and executing corporate and association events, gaining exposure to the full event lifecycle from initial proposal to final completion.
What you'll do#
- Support the Event Management team with event planning, coordination, and execution.
- Assist with vendor outreach, coordination, and cost research.
- Process, track, and organize vendor invoices and related documentation.
- Manage client gift sourcing and procurement.
- Build, update, and maintain detailed, multi-day event schedules.
- Coordinate logistics, including attendee needs and airport arrivals and departures.
- Assist with the development of proposals, marketing materials, and event planning documentation.
- Provide onsite event support to address real-time operational needs.
- Support office operations, including answering client and general calls.
What you'll need#
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to adapt to CRM software.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage event logistics.
- Ability to perform administrative work independently.
- Academic background in Business Administration, Marketing, Communications, Graphic Design, Public Health, Health Administration, Sociology, or Psychology.
- Ability to lift and move up to 30 pounds, as well as the ability to move freely between buildings and levels.
