Marketing/Administrative Intern

About the role#

Cogent Analytics is seeking a Marketing/Administrative Intern to provide support across both marketing initiatives and general business operations. This internship requires a 20-hour weekly commitment and offers hands-on experience in a professional office environment. The role is designed for a proactive individual who can assist with various projects to drive team efficiency and engagement.

What you'll do#

• Provide general administrative support, including data entry, email correspondence, phone coverage, and office supply organization.
• Assist with marketing initiatives such as social media management, content creation, and designing graphics using Canva.
• Help with event preparation, including the coordination of internal meetings and team activities.
• Conduct light research and provide project support to various departments.
• Manage documentation, logistics, and general coordination tasks as needed.
• Run errands and assist with operational requirements.

What you'll need#

• Current enrollment in a degree program related to Marketing, Business Administration, or Communications.
• Strong multitasking, organizational, and time management skills.
• Professional verbal and written communication skills.
• A detail-oriented and reliable approach, with the ability to remain calm under pressure.
• Comfort collaborating with team members and engaging with clients.
• A creative mindset; experience with Canva or similar marketing tools is preferred.
• Intermediate computer skills.
• Ability to be flexible and adaptable to support different departments.

• Location: Greensboro, North Carolina.
• Term: Summer 2026 (starting early May 2026).
• Schedule: 20 hours per week.
• Modality: On-site.
• Compensation: This is a paid internship.
