About the role#
Cogent Analytics is seeking a Marketing/Administrative Intern to provide support across both marketing initiatives and general business operations. This internship requires a 20-hour weekly commitment and offers hands-on experience in a professional office environment. The role is designed for a proactive individual who can assist with various projects to drive team efficiency and engagement.
What you'll do#
- Provide general administrative support, including data entry, email correspondence, phone coverage, and office supply organization.
- Assist with marketing initiatives such as social media management, content creation, and designing graphics using Canva.
- Help with event preparation, including the coordination of internal meetings and team activities.
- Conduct light research and provide project support to various departments.
- Manage documentation, logistics, and general coordination tasks as needed.
- Run errands and assist with operational requirements.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a degree program related to Marketing, Business Administration, or Communications.
- Strong multitasking, organizational, and time management skills.
- Professional verbal and written communication skills.
- A detail-oriented and reliable approach, with the ability to remain calm under pressure.
- Comfort collaborating with team members and engaging with clients.
- A creative mindset; experience with Canva or similar marketing tools is preferred.
- Intermediate computer skills.
- Ability to be flexible and adaptable to support different departments.

- Location: Greensboro, North Carolina.
- Term: Summer 2026 (starting early May 2026).
- Schedule: 20 hours per week.
