Editorial Intern (PCMag)

About the role#

PCMag is seeking an Editorial Intern to join our News, Features, and Reviews teams. This internship provides hands-on experience in digital media, offering the opportunity to work alongside experienced writers and editors. Interns will gain insight into our editorial systems, brand mission, and business model while contributing to meaningful projects. You will have the opportunity to earn bylined pieces on the site by the end of your term.

What you'll do#

• Assist with product testing and draft reviews under editorial guidance.
• Write news and longer-form articles on the latest tech products, services, how-to guides, and tips.
• Participate in the editing process, including proofreading and formatting stories.
• Support the editorial team on various projects as needed.

What you'll need#

• Availability to work 20-29 hours per week.
• Exceptional communication skills.
• Demonstrable writing or editing experience beyond classwork.
• A strong affinity for technology and a willingness to learn.
• Self-motivation and the adaptability to assist where and when needed.
• Pursuing a degree in Communications, Journalism, Media Studies, English, or Computer Science.

• Compensation: $25 per hour.
