About the role#
CLARK Material Handling Company is seeking an Information Technology Intern to provide company-wide support for ERP applications and hardware. This role involves data analysis, SQL updates, and direct end-user assistance to ensure minimal downtime and efficient system performance.
What you'll do#
- Respond to IT requests via the ticketing system and answer IS Helpdesk phones.
- Diagnose and resolve client problems related to ERP applications, including software, operating system, hardware, and network errors.
- Perform diagnostics and maintenance on desktop, laptop, and communication devices.
- Analyze user ERP needs and provide recommendations for business problems.
- Document requests by logging calls and managing support tickets with status reporting.
- Proactively monitor hardware and services to minimize downtime and poor performance.
- Troubleshoot equipment issues and coordinate with maintenance vendors when necessary.
- Maintain product information, vendor files, and the software library.
- Update and manage the Helpdesk manual to ensure accurate documentation for the team.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a degree program for Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Cybersecurity, Data Science, or related technology fields.
- Ability to work under pressure to provide timely support.
- Strong communication skills to interact with technical staff, peers, and management.
- Excellent customer service skills to maintain high service levels.
- Ability to multitask and set priorities while managing multiple support requests.
- Must be able to work in the United States without sponsorship.
