Business Operations Intern

About the role#

This is a full-time, paid internship for the Fall 2026 semester based in Covington, Kentucky. You will gain hands-on experience in both sales and operations within the facility maintenance industry, working across various sectors including medical offices, industrial facilities, and corporate campuses.

What you'll do#

• Build and strengthen business-to-business (B2B) relationships.
• Assist in selling facility maintenance solutions, including proposal creation and follow-up.
• Participate in cold calls and outside B2B sales efforts alongside experienced Sales Executives.
• Collaborate with Account Compliance Managers and Independent Contractors to conduct site inspections.
• Support the execution of services to ensure client expectations and company standards are met.
• Troubleshoot customer requests and coordinate service resolutions.
• Observe service delivery by accompanying Facility Solutions Managers on customer site visits.

What you'll need#

• Current enrollment in a college or university program, preferably in Business Administration, Marketing, Operations Management, or Communications.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage time effectively and work independently.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office; experience with CRM systems is considered a plus.
• A strong desire to learn and develop within a professional sales and operations environment.
