The City of Georgetown is offering an unpaid internship position within the Downtown and Tourism Department to support the Art Center. This role provides opportunities to build a professional portfolio through participation in various projects and initiatives, including the production of writing materials, testimonials, and project samples. You will work under the direct supervision of the Arts and Culture Program Manager.
What you'll do#
- Support the Art Center with ongoing projects and initiatives.
- Assist in the production of writing materials and testimonials.
- Participate in 14 hours of work per week, spread across 3 days.
- Provide support for the City's Autumn Art Stroll on October 16th, 2026.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an accredited Bachelor's or Graduate program with at least 30 completed semester hours.
- Preferred fields of study include Art, Communications, Graphic Design, Media Studies, or Marketing.
- A valid Class 'C' Texas driver's license.
- Dependable transportation.
- Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screening, criminal history background check, and driving record check.
