Maintenance and Supply Chain Intern

About the role#

The Maintenance and Supply Chain Intern will join the Optimization team to address business challenges across refinery operations, maintenance, procurement, and supply chain. This role focuses on converting complex business problems into structured solutions using analytics, process improvement, and AI-enabled capabilities.

What you'll do#

• Work on AI-assisted business solutions, workflows, and automation opportunities.
• Support process improvement initiatives to drive efficiency, reliability, and cost optimization.
• Transform business knowledge into reusable tools, workflows, and digital capabilities.
• Collaborate with business leaders, engineers, analysts, and technology teams.
• Present findings and recommendations to stakeholders.

What you'll need#

• High School diploma.
• Current enrollment in a Bachelor’s program (sophomore, junior, or senior) in Applied Mathematics, Data Science, Statistics, or Operations Research.
• Experience using at least one AI platform, with the ability to describe how it was used for analysis or problem-solving.
• Familiarity with machine learning, regression analysis, simulation, and optimization models.
• Proficiency with SQL, Python, Excel, and Power BI.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
