About the role#

This is a full-time, paid Student II position within the IS Digital Health department at Cincinnati Children's. This role offers a temporary, fixed-term opportunity for students to gain practical experience in a healthcare and research environment.

What you'll do#

• Learn the daily routines of healthcare and research investigators.
• Foster career interests and gain exposure to the academic, technical, and personal skills required in healthcare and research professions.
• Develop an understanding of the connections between your education, work experience, and long-term goal attainment.
• Gain insight into different career paths, including the unique cultures and work environments within healthcare and research.
• Understand, adhere to, and model organizational Core Standards.
• Comply with all policies and procedures regarding patient rights, informed consent, and the handling of confidential information.
• Complete all required organizational training and adhere to safe work practices.

What you'll need#

• Current enrollment in a degree-granting college program.
• Preferred majors include Computer Science, Health Administration, Biomedical Engineering, Biology, or Public Health.
