Part Time Communications & Marketing Intern

About the role#

The Chattahoochee Valley Libraries is offering a temporary, part-time internship for students pursuing degrees in marketing, communications, or related fields. This 16-week position provides hands-on experience within the Community Engagement department.

What you'll do#

• Assist with multimedia production projects.
• Create and manage content for social media platforms.
• Develop and execute email marketing campaigns.
• Promote library events to the public.
• Contribute to various community engagement initiatives.

What you'll need#

• Completed upper-level coursework in marketing or communications.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Practical experience using design and video editing tools.
• A demonstrated passion for community impact.

Location & details#

• Location: Columbus, Georgia (On-site).
• Compensation: $12.00 per hour.
• Term: Summer 2026.
