The Student Information Systems (SIS) Compliance Analyst is responsible for managing student data, attendance records, and state reporting requirements for Charter Impact clients. This role serves as a primary point of contact for clients, requiring a high level of professionalism and a customer-service oriented approach. You will work under the Student Data Manager to ensure data accuracy and compliance with state reporting standards.
What you'll do#
- Provide technical support to clients regarding student information and attendance systems.
- Train client staff members on effectively leveraging their SIS to meet state reporting requirements.
- Troubleshoot issues with new and existing systems.
- Assist in codifying procedures and system configuration settings.
- Streamline current processes and evaluate more efficient solutions.
- Expand system automation to improve data collection and system stability.
- Manage the submission and validation of attendance and state reporting information.
What you'll need#
- A high school diploma; a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Business Administration, Mathematics, or a related field is a plus.
- Two years of education-related data management experience, including data reconciliation and quality control.
- Experience with Student Information Systems, attendance administration, and state reporting.
- Advanced Microsoft Office skills, with advanced knowledge of Excel preferred.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to set priorities and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Effective oral and written communication skills.
- Programming knowledge in JavaScript, Java, or SQL is considered a plus.
Location & details#
- This is a full-time, remote position.
- The role is based in Northridge, California, but open to candidates residing in AZ, CA, CO, CT, FL, ID, IL, NV, OR, SD, TX, UT, or WA.
- The position is paid.
