About the role#
This Scientist Intern position within the UX Innovation division focuses on building human-centered systems and cognitive-support tools. Interns work on real projects using cutting-edge technology alongside small, project-oriented groups of scientists and software engineers.
What you'll do#
- Apply knowledge elicitation and task analysis to address complex problems.
- Utilize iterative user-centered design approaches.
- Conduct human factors-based usability evaluation methods.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop user-centered technology.
What you'll need#
- Current pursuit of a PhD in Computer Science, Human Factors, or a related field.
- Experience in user experience, human-computer interaction, or human factors.
- Ability to work both independently and effectively within a team environment.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills for report writing.
- US citizenship.
